Hi! I’m Amanda Kammarada.
I’m a lettering artist based in Tampa, Florida. My mission is to use a beautiful color palette and whimsical letters as a way to promote kindness and self love. Words are all around us- vocally and visually- so why not make them meaningful & pretty?
Working to create designs that reflect my values is of key importance. Being able to use my lettering for good is what drives me.
I’m the author of The Hand Lettering Workbook– which is available for pre-order right now. I’ve had the opportunity to create work for Mixbook and I’ve been a Brand Ambassador for Tombow USA since 2016. I’ve also collaborated with Denik to create a line of encouraging notebooks.
Since 2017, I’ve been teaching others the art of brush lettering at The Paper Seahorse in Tampa, FL. Seeing my students walk out of class with the interest and confidence to continue lettering, is so rewarding.
When I’m not lettering…
I’m a fun-loving mama with two kids that keep me on my toes. They inspire me to work hard and show them that anything’s possible if you’ve got enough nerve. {Did you catch that Harry Potter reference?} You can find me at Universal Orlando or Disney on weekends living out my magical dreams or at home snuggling my dog Luna.
