Handmade cards are the best! Something handmade always puts a smile on someone’s face. Halloween isn’t a big card sending holiday, but that doesn’t mean you can’t send someone some ghostly love!
Here’s how you can make this ghost lettering card.
SUPPLIES
Here’s what you’ll need:
*sketch paper * pencil * eraser * Tombow Dual Brush Pen in Black * blank white card *
HOW-TO
First, sketch out the design before lettering on the actual card. Since the lettering is going to take the shape of a ghost, sketch out the ghost first.
Fill in the shape with the lettering. The phrase “You are fab-boo lous” fits perfect in this shape! You’ll want to form the letters to fit around corners & curves. Then, add some lines and flourishes to fill in the empty space. Remember to keep the shape outline.
Now to letter! If you have a light box, it’s perfect for tracing right over your sketch onto the card. That way you don’t have to redraw your design. Using a black Tombow Dual Brush Pen, letter onto the front of the card.
And that’s it! Now you have a cute card to send to a friend to let them know they are fab-boo lous!
I’d love to see your ghostly cards! Make sure to share and tag me on Instagram!
Happy Lettering!
