I often get asked about my favorite lettering tools- well here is one of them!
Say goodbye to left behind eraser markers and ripped, crumpled paper! The Tombow MONO eraser is the only eraser I use when lettering. Why do I love it so much? I’m going to show you why!
First of all, you’re probably thinking: What makes the MONO eraser different from any other eraser?
Heres what makes it different:
* made of soft plastic instead of rubber
* removes pencil markers easily
* little pressure needed to erase
* no damage or ripping of the paper
* doesn’t smudge the ink
So, let’s see how it works!
If you’re like me, you like a pencil guideline. I have to sketch out my design first. I use the Tombow MONO HB drawing pencil. (Another one of my favorite tools!)
After the design is sketched, use a Tombow Dual Brush Pen to letter right over the pencil. Don’t worry if you can see the pencil lines through the ink or if you don’t go right over your original sketched lines. The MONO eraser will take care of it!
Now, watch the magic happen. Using the MONO eraser, don’t be afraid to erase right over the ink. The ink doesn’t smudge. The pencil lines come up so easily, with little pressure.
What do you think? Is this an eraser you think you would love to? Let me know!
