Summer is here and it’s a great time to get crafty! Today I’m sharing some fun items that I’m loving for summer. Whether it’s lettering on your own or having your kids get involved, these products are perfect for summer days- either outside or inside the air conditioning (when the summer heat gets to be too much).

Peggy Dean’s newest book is here! If you’re not familiar with Peggy, she’s a talented watercolor and lettering artist who shares her love of nature in her designs.

Peggy shows you how to draw flowers, plants and some animals. Her directions are easy to follow and includes tons of visuals. It’s perfect for finding a shady spot outside to sit down and draw.

Craft a Life You Love by Amy Tangerine

This has been one of my favorite books for a while and makes a great summer read. Amy walks you through the tools you need to get inspired and get those “creative juices flowing!” What I love most about this book is that it’s interactive. Amy shares stories, both personal and professional, and at the end of each chapter you get a chance to reflect through questions and exercises. I have doodled and written all over mine- don’t worry- Amy actually recommends it. 😁 Get inspired this summer!
